quickDAQ freezes with KUSB-3100

I have just taken delivery of a KUSB-3100 and connected it to a Pentium 4, 2.8 GHz, 1GB RAM HP, running XP SP3. quickDAQ opens OK but once I press play, it hangs, so badly that the cntl-alt-del facilities can't quit it, nor can Windows exit, the power button has to be held for 5 s to turn off. Before pressing play, the green LED is on on the side of the KUSB-3100 and after pressing play, it flashes. Similar results with the freeware 8-channel DVM, except sometime it's possible to quit that.

Two years later, this is STILL a problem! I have a new KUSB3100 with QuickDataAcq v1.0.6 which gives the same behaviour on a Dell Latitude E6230 running Win7. Any chance it'll be fixed please? Not a good start! :(

QuickDAQ with KUSB-3108 works fine on windows xp and windows 8 OS

The latest version of QuickDAQ (QuickDAQ Version 3.6.1.1) is available for download from the Data Translation web site. To insure that you are using the latest drivers and software, please install the Data Acquisition Omni Software: http://www.datatranslation.com/cd/omni/ ... d=2&pid=10.
