Hi all, I have a Tektronix TDS1001B Oscilloscope that has a problem on CH2: it reads a 400mV P-P signal at 6.250kHz even with the probes disconnected. In Autoset it says that it detects DC level on CH2 and therefore does not perform the autonomous calibration but stops at step 3 of 16. When I turn it on, however, it does not detect any errors. I checked the voltages and they are Ok so I think there is a fault on the Main Board Part. No. 870-0008-00 879-6178-73, I have disassembled it and I am looking for a spare, perhaps from another instrument that has a different fault and can act as a donor. Or I could try to fix it or get it fixed. Unfortunately I have not found the scheme so it is difficult for me to find the fault. Any tips? Has anyone had the same problem? Or is there someone who could fix it? Thanks
