AFG1062 - Windows 7 Boot-up Issue

Post by khad90 » September 20th, 2016, 3:56 am

When the AFG1062 is connected to my computer by USB, my computer will no longer boot to Windows 7 (actually it does not even show the BIOS boot-up frame, but appears to be stuck at a command terminal like interface which I can not interface with). I can solve this by either turning the AFG1062 off before booting, or by disconnecting the USB before booting. When I turn AFG1062 on (or reconnect the USB) after boot-up, the computer and instrument appears to be working properly.

I am running a computer with Windows 7 professional 32-bit.

I attempted to make changes to the BIOS menu of the computer to not allow booting from USB, to see if this would solve the issue, but the issue still remains. Is there any solution to this problem?

PS. A support ticket for this has been created, and I will update the thread if a more permanent solution is found.
