CSV file for ArbExpress

Post by AFG3022 User » September 30th, 2016, 7:02 am

Hello, I want to create a waveform in a CSV file. Do you have a detailed description how the CSV file must look like, to import it into the ArbExpress?

Thank You.

The acceptable .csv file format is a single column of data points. Attached an example file for a 20 point sine wave to illustrate the proper format.

Hello,

How is it interpreted by the AFG? Does the AFG replay this sequence of 20 points at its maximum "sampling rate" (e.g. 300MS/s for the AFG1062) over and over again?

What is the best way to set the desired frequency of this Sin signal if there is no time information in the file?
Does it mean the time information we provide is useless and rather depends on the frequency set on the AFG after selected a .tsw file?

thanks,

If you are importing a data file into ArbEpress and then transferring it to the AFG102, it treats the file as a single waveform without any time information. You would then set the AFG Period to match the desired period of the waveform.
