When increasing the frequency using the rotary dial, the output change is not linear. This can be seen on a scope if you trigger on pulse width to capture the change. On a square wave you can see varying pulse widths at the transition. If you use the sweep mode (low->high), when the sweep is triggered, you get a short burst of what looks like the higher frequency followed by the selected sweep from low to high. These signal irregularities mean we cannot use this device for our application. Has anyone else seen these affects and is there a known fix for this?

The affects you see are characteristics of the AFG1000 Series. The AFG3000 Series do not share these same characteristics.
(A future firmware release may eliminate these affects in the AFG1000.)
