P6245 Max Peak 15V or 40V?

Reading the spec sheet for a new P6245 says that the max non-destructive peak is +/-15V, and that peak is also printed on the compensation box as "15V pk MAX".

However, there appear to be quite a number of used P6245 via various outlets that are labeled as "40V pk MAX".

Was there a design change at some point, or are these older probes mis-labeled? I haven't found any spec sheet, old or new, that says the peak is 40V.

The specification for the non-destructive voltage was changed from +/-40V to +/-15V due to component constraints. The specification was changed back in year 2000.
