P5122 or P5150 for TPS2024

Post by strism » August 3rd, 2021, 11:21 pm

Hello,

P5122 or P5150 are high voltage single-ended probe for TPS2024.
However, I don't understand how it works. What is the reference of those probes?
As you know, TPS2024 is an isolated oscilloscope, so the reference would not be just ground.
Is there the reference lead of above single-ended probe?
If so, why aren't they called differential probe?
I'm really confused on these.

Thanks in advance.
