I'm a bit confused.
What is the exact meaning of Input Impedance?
On Specification and the probe herself, there are printed 1MOhm.
But in paragraph CONFIGURATION of the spec ( and in reality), there is
stated, that impedance switch to 50Ohm.
Please explain.

The input specifications for the P6243 is 1M ohm. Since the P6243 is a active probe (has electronics in it)it is designed to drive a 50 ohm input on a oscilloscope. The reference to 50 Ohms is at the BNC end (output) of the probe that connects to the oscilloscope. When connected to a Tektronix oscilloscope it sets the oscilloscope input to 50 ohms.
