The TDS7104 can't start up. It seems this win2K system is crash. and I put thet Hard Disk out, then install a new win2K system on the new disk. but it's done not work.
major error is: no TI PCI 1225 card driver. so the tek's software can't start.
Is there somebody who have the recover CD of TDS7104 scope? or somewhere to download the system image?
For the TDS7000 series, in the past you could order a replacement programmed drive as PN 050350214 (due to licensing issues, we do not provide downloads for the OS). I show that as no longer being available however. This instrument will probably need to be sent in to service for repair to have the OS restored.
Or anyone know how the BL440ZX is actually checking the hardware version? I have changed the broken HDD, so could it be that - just something simple like volume name, or..? Someone good at decompiling .exe files?

The CD is:
"TDS7000 Series Operating System Restor 063-3377-00"
You can swap hardware into your system after the restore is complete, though as far as the scope performance goes don't expect much as the windows side does not impact the scope end that much, and who would use these as a PC anymore. Of course, to do a future restore, this hardware would need to be removed again. So make a image of the working drive and use that for future restore/transfer that onto a larger drive etc.

After painful checks that I spare you it wants to execute this command:
PQER /PWD=N 16058 /IMG=IMAGE.PQI
This probably does something usefull, keep us informed please if something happened.
I would also love to get the restore disc for a DPO TDS 7104 scope if possible, I tried to PM you but I just made this account and it will not let me access PM ability.

yes I just sent you my details but it says the message is in the outbox and not sent ??? Not sure if it was actually sent although when I inspect the message it says it was sent at 9 PM my time.
Got a message from Tektronix saying that my login details were incomplete. So was able to download the file after I filled in the missing details and cleared the browser cache.
I am also stuck in the same position, it seems the TekScope.exe is getting something off the disk I dont have from Vanilla OS + Firmware update.
Since I just signed up for an account its telling me I cant PM, can I reply to a PM from you - I desperately need the original Images / Disk Image
