AWG70001A binary block with TCPIP

Post by rluis » October 20th, 2013, 9:13 pm

Hello all,

I am trying to send a binary block to an AWG70001A using raw TCPIP using the standard format #YXXXDDD. However, the instrument seems to interpret the characters 10 in the binary block as line feeds and prematurely terminates the message. The documentation for the 70001A is still very incomplete and seems to require some editing so I could not find an answer to this there.

Does anyone know how this problem can be solved? Perhaps by escaping the line feeds within the binary block?

thanks in advance.
