AWG7122B has a function "Channel skew" and the signals can also be shifted with the function "Horizontal shift/rotate". I think these two are similar and can achieve the same effect. Is it true?

These functions are different from each other. The Channel Skew adjustment allows the timing (delay) between two output waveforms to be offset from one another. The Horizontal Shift/Rotate is used when editing a waveform file. It allows a specified range of data in the waveform file to be shifted or rotated.
