Bad HDD on RTX100B ISDB-T RF Signal Generator

Post by Tatiana » August 13th, 2013, 4:12 pm

Hello.
I turned on our RTX100B yesterday and found error:

Invalid BOOT.INI file
Booting from C:\windows

I had the (bad?) idea of running Hiren's boot CD on a USB to try and boot the OS, but the machine kept rebooting, so I run chkdsk on it, and it found several unreadable segments on disk, and I suspect chkdsk worsened the problem.
The OS partition is unreadable, the other larger partition can be read.

Anyway I was hoping to find some disk image or drivers and software. Can anybody help?

For the RTX100B, the OS restore was on a separate partion on the hard drive. There is no separate restore media other than for the restore partion. To recover the hard drive, if the OS retore partion has been corrupted, the intrument will need to be sent to a Tektronix Service center.

If the unit is above s/n B020000 you can order a programmed replaement hard drive under p/n 650525003.
