Tek G35 - BICC protocol

Post by curtissj » October 28th, 2011, 12:47 am

Has anyone used the BICC (Bearer Independant Call Control) protocol on the Tek K1297 - G35?

I am trying to use BICC on top of M3UA/M2PA but the BICC encoder/decoder is causing corrupt messages. The first 4 bits of the BICC message according to the G35 is 'spare SLS' rather than part of the 4 byte CIC field. This is causing the remaining bytes to be decoded incorrectly.
Has anyone used BICC before as I cannot believe this basic error has not been seen before!

I have raised a fault ticket to Tek but any help/advice would be appreciated.
Thanks
