It is going to be the visa32.dll. You can find the functions you need specifically i the TekVISA programer manual (or reference card), which would have been included when you installed TekVISA.

With VB, some people prefer to use the ActiveX control instead of directly using visa32.dll. If this is the case, you would use the TVC. Help document for this is labeled TekVISA ActiveX control help.

I use tvc, i can not read the lockState from a device that is in use, there is no message (see also TekXL Toolbar for Excel)
I can not integrate the visa32.dll in Visual Basic 2010, Errormessage: It could not be added referring to visa32.dll. make sure that you can access a file and it is a valid assembly or com component.
Can you give me an example to use visa32.dll in visual basic 2010?

VB will not give you direct access to the .dll. If you were using C or C# you could.
