For example when the scope is queried with the command > EVM? <, it returns:
:EVMSG 0, "No events to report-queue empty"
The scope response erroneously inserts the prefix > :EVMG < which causes an error in our LabVIEW driver.
v1.24 also has affected the time delay measurements. All time delay measurements queries return string > 0E+0 < instead of the actual displayed delay. To make matters worse, the MDO3014 oscilloscope does not allow to return to a lower firmware version, i.e., v1.22.
We had no issues with v1.22. Unfortunately, upgrading the MDO3014 to firmware v1.24 has brought our production test to a standstill.
I would appreciate your assistance on how to reprogram the scope with firmware v1.22
I did not use the HEADER OFF command in my scope setup script because I was using *RST to set the MDO3014 to the factory defaults.
According to Appendix C of the Programmer's Manual, using *RST defaults the HEADER to 0 (OFF). This approach works with firmware v1.22.
However, it does not work with v1.24. I had to add another line to my code to include HEADER OFF.
