2022C Trigger Delay

Post by dashtig » December 12th, 2018, 8:13 am

Simple set up
1 Ext pulse triger
CH1 - Slow (60ms) bell curve type DC signal

But what I get is attached..
Like as if the trigger is delayed before acq.

Any help greatly appreciated - If I had hair I would pull it out..

Not sure I follow the nature of complaint.

You are triggering off a signal connected to the Ext Trig. Rising Edge @ 8mV.

Your captured waveform shows you the trigger point with the white down arrow at top of screen. Happens within first 10msec of the capture.

To sort it out, can you tee a scope channel to your external trigger signal and enable that channel for display.
Or just trigger off the channel to which you connect it.

Triggering at 8mV. Is your signal really quiet or are you in the noise margin and essentially immediately but randomly triggering.
