Continuous Data recording or Data logging-MDO3104 Oscilloscope

Post by micjor375 » April 7th, 2019, 3:40 am

I have MDO3104 Mixed domain oscilloscope.

i can save upto 10,000 datapoints in usb drive and even in pc when connected via open-choice or browser.

is there any way to collect and store data continuously from MDO3014 using any software or by using matlab, python?

Well...we have several remote instrument control programming examples at: viewtopic.php?f=580&t=133570 if you are looking to write your own program.

There is also a utility written by one of our AE's that allows data logging. It is titled "O-Scope Utilities". It was written for some of our earlier oscilloscopes and has not been tested on the MSO3000 series. You can give it a try. It can be downloaded at: https://fortive.box.com/s/ku8nub3iiqo01 ... uwvluyta65.

Hello,

I want to measure a signal from a photodiode over a continuous period of time e.g. 5 minutes.
I have a Tektronix DPO 4034 oscilloscope. Is there a way using Matlab or the software (O-scope)
that you mentioned above so as to perform a continuous data logging from the Tektronix oscilloscope
to the PC over a large period time ?

Thank you.

Hi, recently I also have a function as you mentioned. I have a DPO4104B in my lab. I want to take 10~20mins data with force triggered signal as a csv.
If this software doesn't exist, do u want to implement together?

For your application I think TEKSCOPE Utility works fine. It is available free by tektronix. However, I want to record data continuously and tekscope cannot do that.
