Vertical Resolution TBS1102B-EDU

Post by kevin_david » April 17th, 2020, 8:05 am

Hi guys,

The manual of the TBS1102B-EDU says that the vertical resolution is 8 bits but I need it in volts, how can I convert the bits into volts?.

Thanks a lot.

The readings you get on the scope ARE in volts. The 8-bit resolution that you see is just the resolution of the ADC (analog to digital converter) that is used to acquire the signal waveform. You won't have to do any conversion - the scope does it for you, and will give you results in volts.
