Phase measurement TDS2024C

Post by felixpradoh » April 26th, 2020, 10:58 pm

Hello,
I am trying to get the phase between two sinusoidal waves in a TDS2024C scope by python and pyVISA.

Nevertheless, I couldnt find this command in the Programming Manual. Just manually from tthe front pannel. Does anyone know if it is possible, or someone did it?

Thank you.

This can be done. The MEASUrement:IMMed:TYPe PHAse command is available and documented in the programmers manual.

Thanks for your fast answer.
Following the next command (I am using a small python script with pyVISA), I am able to set the Measurement 1 as a Phase type. This works with:

Code: Select all

'MEASUrement:IMMed:TYPe PHAse'
However I would like to set that the source1 and source 2 are CH4 and MATH, respectively. I have tried:

Code: Select all

'MEASUrement:INMed:SOURCE1 CH4'
'MEASUrement:INMed:SOURCE2 MATH'
but unfortunately the sources don´t change in the scope.

(I am using a small python script with pyVISA)

Looks like you have a spelling error.

'MEASUrement:INMed:SOURCE1 CH4'
'MEASUrement:INMed:SOURCE2 MATH

Should be:
'MEASUrement:IMMed:SOURCE1 CH4'
'MEASUrement:IMMed:SOURCE2 MATH'
