I am trying to synchronize two Model 3390 function generators.
How do you do this?

Here is a simple procedure to synch up two Model 3390s.
1. Connect the 10MHz output on one unit to the 10MHz input on the other unit(s).
2. Set all instruments to the same frequency.
3. Set the phase relationship between the instruments by
pressing UTILITY and selecting OUTPUT SET UP.
4. Then select Adj Phase.
Adjust the phase until you get the required phase between the units.
Use an oscilloscope to verify the phase relationship

When doing this, what phase accuracy (jitter) could we expect ?

Is it possible to change the frequency on both generator at the same time and remain synced? And how to do it?
Because now every time I need to change the frequency on first generate and the the second generator and then the phase relationship is lost every time.
And I need to adjust/calibrate it again connecting both generator to the oscilloscope because the "Phase Adj" setting is not true anymore.
