Need advice on reducing the oscillating/ripple noise

Post by dmkonovalov » January 16th, 2019, 8:17 pm

I have a Wheatstone bridge. I am supplying V+ = 5V and V- = 0V via Agilent power supply. I am measuring/digitizing voltage across two other legs of the bridge. The digitized voltage waveform shows ripples/oscillations with 50-60 Hz frequency.

Is this the grounding problem?

Is the power supply an isolated power supply?

Shielding can reduce radiated power line noise.

If 60Hz is coupled into the DC signal, the 1MHz digitizer on DMM6500 will show it to you.
