How to report bugs

Post by andpet » May 29th, 2020, 3:23 am

I count at least five different bugs using DMM6500 with 2000-SCAN. Is this the best place to report them?
For example, the first PT100 temperature reading in a scan is in some occations extremely low (example: -119.1916 or -119.233 C instead of 24 C), messing up the statistics and graph scaling.
I can also record videos to document GUI bugs.

Ideally, you can contact your "local" Tektronix support.
In the States and the ".com" site, we have this page: https://www.tek.com/support

From there you can open a web ticket or call one of the phone numbers.
That page shows:
Europe, Middle East & Africa:
toll free:00800 2255 4835
other: 41-52 675 3777

You can try to do it from the forum. In general, knowing the firmware level you are at (make sure you are at latest) for seeing the problem, and the steps to duplicate is needed. Knowing if problem is 100% or intermittent also helps.
