Measuring multiple channels without using buffer

Post by clemarie » September 28th, 2021, 6:50 am

Hello,
can I do a single measurement of several channels without going through the buffer?
Thanks in advance

If a scan is used to acquire the reading from each channel, then yes, a buffer must be used to hold the results.

If scan not used, then one by one you can close channel and do a dmm measure. But you must send result to PC or store it somehow before next reading on next channel.

I think on another of your posts, you are using DAQ6510 from VEE. What is the difficulty with using scan and obtaining the data from buffer with the trace data command?

Hello,
What bothers me when I do loops with 1 scan is that the display of the device constantly changes from one of the values read, to a display with dashes (- - -, - -).
I also cannot use the device graph which is initialized at each scan
Regards
