However, let's look at specs to have an idea of allowed error.
The 1 year specs for 1 ohm range are: +/- (0.0085% of reading + 0.02% of range)
Just the second term, 0.02% of 1 Ohm range, will give 200uOhm of allowed error.
The DMM uses 10mA of excitation current for the 1 Ohm range.
If possible, you would be better served with an external current source to push more than 10mA through your DUT. This would yield a larger and, in theory, more measurable voltage from which to compute the R from the measured V and sourced I.
