DMM2701 Warm up for performance considerations

Post by CH2009 » December 7th, 2015, 1:44 am

Hello,

For performance considerations, the documentation we can read that it must be allowed to warm up the model 2701 for at least 2 hours. My question is: can we check how long the model is turned on (date and time)? Can we use SCPI command to retrieve this information?

Thanks in advance

The time can be reset and then checked to see when two hours have passed.
To reset time send this command.
:SYSTEM:TIME 00.00.00 (0r the present time)
To query the time send this command
:SYSTEM:TIME?

Or do not reset the time and just query and look for a two hour difference.
Hope this helps.
