Advanced Scan Syntax

Post by Joe Moyers » January 23rd, 2019, 1:26 pm

Hello, I am trying to perform a remote programming scan using a mixture of thermocouples and RTDs on a model 2700 with a 7708 board in slot 1 and a 7700 board in slot 2. I keep getting error 221 and 104. This is the latest code I tried-
"TRAC:CLE"
"INIT:COUNT OFF"
"TRIG:SOUR IMM"
"FUNC TEMP, (@101:112)"
"TEMP:TRAN TC, (@101:112)"
"TEMP:TC:TYPE T, (@101:112)"
"TEMP:RJUN:RSEL INT, (@101:112)"
"FUNC TEMP, (@201:212)"
"TEMP:TRAN FRTD, (@201:212)"
"TEMP:FRTD:TYPE PT385, (@201:212)"
"TRIG:COUN 1"
"SAMP:COUN 24"
"ROUT:SCAN (@101:112, 201:212)"
ROUT:SCAN:TSO IMM"
"ROUT:SCAN:LSEL INT"
"READ?"

One of the errors is four wire measurement on slot two at channels 11 and 12. This is the 7700 card with only 20 two pole channels.
So channel 11 would pair channel 21 when there is no channel 21.
That is probably the -221 error.
The -104 error is a syntax error.
I noticed that the command
:FUNC TEMP ,(@101:112) does not have
single quotes around TEMP. It should be like this.
:FUNC 'TEMP' , (@101:112)
This would be for both slots.
Hope this helps.
