2701 with 7700: Error "ICE2700_ATTR_FRONT_PANEL_LOCKOUT"

I'm using a 2701 with a 7700 via RS232 an EceLINX reading 12 channels all 5 min. Configuring works fine, no errors. The scanning runs for about 15 min to 4 hours and then it stops with "ICE2700_ATTR_FRONT_PANEL_LOCKOUT". I can restart it by switching off and on the 2701, configuring again and start the scanning anew.
Does anyone know what to change to make ExceLINX run without the error?

ExceLINX has been obsolete for quite a long time.
I would highly recommend using KickStart with your 2701 for Data Logging with the new Auto Export feature enabled.
The software comes with a free trial period so you can evaluate and compare...

I installed KickStart 2.0.6, the 2701 is now directly conneted to the PC via ethernet (direct cable connection between 2701 and PC). KickStart does not recognise the device. I also tried it with the IP that I can see when I switch on the 2701.
I find nothing how to configure the 2701 to be detected by KickStart - maybe there is already somthing wrong. Or is this direct connection not possible? As far as I understand it the connection with RS232 is not supported?

Thanks for any suggestions ....

Hi Bergmiis,

Can you try pinging the 2701 with that same IP address to make sure that communication exists outside of KickStart?

Hi Jennifer,

thanks for your replay.
I could make some improvements but still lose my connection after quite a short time: viewtopic.php?f=283&t=141562
Some minutes ago I sent my project and details of my 2701 to the e-mail address Joe mentioned.

Hopefully you can help.
