I will be glad to know what is the series resistance of one relay (channels 1-40), and what is the minimum current input that required to the relays (I couldn't find this info).
let me quote the 3721 datasheet:
Channel resistance (end of contact life):
- Dual 1x20: <1 Ohm
- Single 1x 40 : <1.5 Ohm
(please check for footnotes regarding 3721-ST and backplane relays)
Minimum signal level:
10 mV, 10 microA
Thanks for the help.
My mistake. I meant to the resistance of the relays at channel 41-42. (indeed, I can see in the data sheet that the channels 1-40 resistances is 1.5 ohm)
I couldn't find that info in the data sheet. can you tell me please what the resistance of the relays at channel 41-42 ?(or the channels resistance)
It's critical to my Jig.
these relays are considered in a broader view in the Series 3700A (mainframe) specifications.
You will find range dependent information for shunt resistors and burden voltage - and (hopefully to
your delight) Burden Voltage with 3721 card.
Here some values:
100 mA: <0.4 V
10 mA: <150 mV
1 mA: <130 mV
100 uA: <105 mV
10 uA: <61 mV
