3700 with 3721 switching control

Post by sagifa » January 11th, 2016, 1:31 am

My question is- can I use the current channels (41,42) for switching and to control the latch relays in the DMM connect so it will be open? I want that all the current will arrive to the backplane analog connector and will not pass through DMM.
Can I control the latch relays in the DMM connect?

Channels 41 and 42 on the 3721 are hardwired to analog backplane 1 LO and the amp input which is directly connected to the DMM portion of the 3706.
If you want to use the card to switch currents then you can use the other 40 channels. Note that those channels have a 2Amp switching capability.
