Post by hasanalemdar » July 20th, 2017, 3:48 am

Hello. I am using 3706a series in school-lab. I am learning yet. Therefore, I am not solving this problem. Generally, I take ' Error 1114'

I choose ' 4x Prees whell' I change 'no function' with wheel. For example, I choose 'DC Volts' press wheel after l saw 'Error 1114' . How to solve ? Another error is ' Error 1116 ' I don't understand this error, why ?

Another problem control card 3740 . I wanna measure 2-wire ohm but 'overflow'. You can see below -. Where did l do wrong ? How to solve I ?

Thanks for helpful.

The 3740 "channels" control form C relays that are on the 3740 card.
They do not connect external signals to the multimeter within the 3706A.
This is why your attempts to associate a measure function with a 3740 channel is resulting in various errors about invalid configuration.
