Is it possible to increase max voltage sense lead drop?

I have a couple of 2303 supplies I'd like to use with my own current sense system. This is because the built-in current measurement doesn't have enough resolution at the high current range. (I need at least 22 bits.) Is there any way to extend the maximum delta between output and sense leads to 5V, similar to your SMUs?

I'm hoping to be able to use 2303s for this application because of the very fast response. The products I have to measure operate from a 3V cell. They putt along at 5-20µA but draw random pulses >200mA. I need to be able to guarantee several years of battery life for these products. Taking accurate integrated current measurements over long periods is essential.

The maximum voltage sense lead drop is 2V.
That is it, there is no adjustment.
