Battery Simulator with 3 amp sink at 9 volts

Post by testengineer » October 3rd, 2013, 3:28 pm

Do you have any battery simulators that can sink more than 3 amps at 9 volts? Looking thru the data sheets the DC power supplies that you have that can be used as a battery simulator can not sink as much power as I need.

I should add that the product that I am trying to test supplies a charge current of 3 amps, and I would prefer the instrument be able to sink 5 amps at 9 volts

None of the "battery simulators" can sink higher than 3A.
The Model 2440 Source Meter can sink up to 5A at 10V.
Here are the specs.
