Is that a zinc carbon battery?
I’m curious for your application.
If we generate one for you using our 2450 SourceMeter, the model is impacted by the current used during the discharge. Can you tell us more of your use case?

Hi,

Our IoT devices need these zinc carbon battery models because of alkaline leakage problems.
We are looking for two battery models that are capable of supplying 250mA from a single AAA/AA cell or 2-cell AAA/AA.
Our IoT applications as attachment.
We are grateful for you to help us.

Thank you for this info.

I have the zinc carbon batteries ordered. They are not so common here in the States.

I have some batteries in hand.

Just to review, we know that the model for a battery is dependent on the rate at which the charge is extracted.
From a typical battery data sheet:
battery_model_generate_pic1.PNG
typical datasheet curve
battery_model_generate_pic1.PNG (41.92 KiB) Viewed 21 times
With a SourceMeter, we can easily do this constant rate of discharge until the voltage is depleted to some lower limit (~0.9V).
We can also do more complex waveforms. Our battery model generation script that runs on the 2450 or other touch screen models supports a list of up to 10 currents each with their own dwell time.

Here are two cycles using:
200mA for 10msec
20mA for 90msec
100uA for 400msec
battery_model_generate_pic2.PNG
scope shot of pulsed charge extraction
battery_model_generate_pic2.PNG (61.21 KiB) Viewed 21 times
Using that waveform, we are pulling just a little over 2uA-Hrs each second.
If the AAA battery is nominally 1000mA-Hrs of capacity, this is very long time to generate the model and beyond what I can allocate to.

I'll start with a AAA (~1000 mA-Hrs) and discharge at 100mA or 0.1C.

Here is battery model for 2281S battery simulating power supply.
It was generated with 100mA constant discharge with script on 2450 SourceMeter.
The battery is a carbon zinc Panasonic UM-4NP or AAA.
