Looking for a "programmable DC power supply"

Post by peter7139 » October 27th, 2015, 12:05 pm

Hello,

We are looking for a "programmable DC power supply" using in testing automotive LED lamp.

I am not sure whether the name above is the right one to call the equipment but let me describe what we need:
Recently our customer gave us a "Start/Stop battery voltage curve" and asked us to test lamp with this curve but we don't have a test equipment can do it. I attached the voltage curve so that you can check it.

Our need is:
1. DC power supply that can generate voltage curve and input into our products.
2. Estimated max power rating: 300W; 30V; 10A.
3. Good resolution

Looks like 2281S-20-6 Precision DC Supply and Battery Simulator might be a good choice for us but we're open-minded to have more recommendation from you.

Thank you for helping me.

Sincerely,

Kuei Kuo

]The Model 2281S has a list mode to do these types of waveforms. But it is not fast enough.
the response time is around 10 to 20msec.
I would recommend the Model 2651A source meter for this application.
Take a look at the attached application note using the 2651A.
