Question regarding HVPS model 248

Post by sasmitg » March 14th, 2012, 9:52 am

Can you please tell me if I can use the model 248 HVPS to apply a bias voltage of less than 20V? I have been using the HVPS to apply high voltages and it works fine but whenever I try to use it to apply less than 20V it just doesn't work. For example if I set the output voltage to 4V and turn on the power supply the display just skips to 20V and I can't get it to reduce the output voltage.

Below 50V the Model 248 is not very stable.
It is designed as a high voltage supply.
If you need 20V then I would suggest one of the standard supplies
Model 2200-20-5.
This is a 20V supply good for up to 5A.
