Keithley-237 GPIB commands

Post by AlanBahm » August 14th, 2013, 4:40 pm

I am attempting to command the Keithly-237 via GPIB using C# and .NET. I wish to
1) read its identification string
2) command it to Source I Measure V as DC
3) set it to source (and hold) one specific current (say 23.45 microAmps)
I do not need to sweep through a range or measure anything.

I understand the version of GPIB is old and will not recognize queries like *IDN?, but I cannot find specifically from the manual how to do the above.

Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Alan
