Just got a used 2015 THD

Post by Bingo600 » April 5th, 2013, 8:33 am

Hi Forum

I just got a used 2015 THD DMM.

I was wondering if it basically is a 2000 with a THD addon.

The reason is that there isn't much info or forum entries for the 2015 , and i was wondering if i could also use the info from the 2000 forum.

It's doing burn in test right now , using a Geller 10v reference.
And is actially closer to the 10v (9.99992v) than my Agilent 34401a (9.99978v)

TIA

The Model 2015 is a Model 2000 measurement engine for DCV, ACV, DCI, ACI, 2 and 4 wire ohms, temperature and frequency.
The Model 2015 has he THD function and that separates it from the Model 2000.
So all other functions can be used as a Model 2000.

Hello Dale / Keithley

Thank you for the ansver.
I'll have a look in the 2000' forum.

Btw:
I have goofed in my Geller Reference measurements (by connecting 3 meters at the same time to the reference).
http://www.gellerlabs.com/SVR%20M.html

I got an advice from Joe geller, about only conecting one instrument at the time ...

And the Keithley hit the magic number (- further down) .... :D

The 2015 is spot on , and my 34401A is 7 ppm off.

Not bad for a Volt-nut beginner (hobbyist)
