DC/DC isolation converter for analog out on 6485

Post by mtronic » May 19th, 2011, 10:55 am

So if I "float" the 6485 ammeter chassis my understanding is that the 0-2 volt analog output floats as well. Thus a dc/dc isolation converter is needed if one intends to record a voltage with respect to ground. Does anyone have any recommendations for such a device that is commercially available, accurate, low noise, etc.? Thanks.

The Model 6485 if floated above ground will cause the analog output to float as well.
Sorry, I do not have any recommendations for such a device.
