EMG connection to DAQ6510 Model 7703 Multiplexer Module

Post by HALOBEAST999 » November 20th, 2019, 12:11 pm

This may be a simple question but I am having an issue connecting EMG electrodes to the Model 7703 Multiplexer Module for the DAQ6510. I have read the manual and have the diagram explaining the pins and channels. My issue is I am trying to use the DAQ for emg signal reading. In order to do this I have to use 2 active electrodes and 1 reference electrode. I need to be able to connect all 3 of these electrodes to one channel in order to read a signal. Is there a way to have 2 HI and 1 LO for a single channel?

No, that’s not what the 7703 and DAQ6510 can do. The 7703 provides multiple channels of HI and LO which will be routed to the voltmeter input of the DAQ6510 when a channel is closed.

For three electrode EMG, seems you need some small amplifier circuit. The output of that could be monitored with the DAQ6510.
