I am trying to set up 6221 current source with 2182A nanovoltmeter together in a Delta mode for a resistivity measurement.
I have followed this process:
1.Connect 2182A and 6221 together with NULL MODEM serial cable.
2.Connect 2182A and 6221 together with trigger link cable.
3.Set 2182A to RS-232 mode (19.2k BAUD, Flow is off, Terminator is CR).
4.Set 6221 to GPIB mode.
5.Press DELTA on 6221
However, an error 402 occurs "output blocked by interlock". Can I avoid to have to deal with the 6221 interlock ? If not what should I do ?

You can set the v limit to lower value, but as much as 100V is possible.
Since this represents a shock hazard, the product has an interlock.
This is similar to how a microwave oven will not start or will halt if the door is opened.
Check out the 6221 Reference Manual on the interlock and illustrations on simple connection to a switch that closes when “all clear”.
