Negative current and resistance values

Post by ticktock » March 21st, 2019, 4:47 pm

Hi,

I am trying to measure current and resistivity (with a voltage bias 1-10V) with the Keithley 2636A.

However, I get negative current and resistance readings.

Why is that so and how to rectify?

Thank you

How are your connections from the triax connectors to your sample? Is it possible you have an open circuit? Even if negative, does the current increase as function of the applied voltage, or just randomly near to zero amps?
