Pulse mode from 2636A

Post by HelenNIU » November 19th, 2013, 7:58 am

We have a SMU2636A which has 2 SMU in it (SMU-A and SMU-B) and now I need now use the both to perform a pulse measurement on a JFET. The SMU-A polarizing the drain has to provide a long pulse during which the SMU-B polarizing the gate provides a short pulse. I am a beginner for this software. Can you give me some ideas to make it?

Thanks a lot!

What communication bus are you using?
If it is Ethernet then you might consider using TSP Express. This is a gui type program embedded in the 2636A. There is nothing to down load or install.
It can only be accessed through ethernet.
Here is a link to a short video that shows how to use this software.

If you want you can use TSB (Test Script Builder) and write your own script.
There are many example scripts on the KI site at the following link.
