Measuring conductivity of electrospun polymer nanofibers

Post by amoayeri » August 14th, 2013, 12:24 pm

Hi,
I am new to this field so sorry if my questions are sounds amateurish.

I want to measure conductivity/resistivity of electrospun nanofibers mat, I have access to KEITHLEY 6221 DC/AC CURRENT SOURCE and KEITHLEY 2182A NANOVOLTMETER. Based on the literature I know that I have to do four-probe resistivity measurement. However, I don't have the four-stright lines probe, do you know where I can get it? is it commercially available?

Hi amoayeri,

I'm not aware of any supplier of custom test fixtures. You may have to build your own. The important thing is to make sure the four probes are equidistant from one to the next.

Probe Station Vendors will have these sort of accessory items.

Just a sampling:
