Question for 2303 power supply

Post by Lewisjia » August 19th, 2013, 8:39 pm

After reading current of power supply by SCPI command (":MEAS:CURR?"), the power supply always display the lastest recording of current. But I hope that the power supply continue to display current in real-time.
Can you help me? which SCPI command can I use?

Hi Lewisjia,

1. First, send the commands to config for your test, e.g. :
:VOLT 5 ‘ Set output voltage to 5V.
:SENS:CURR:RANG:AUTO ON ‘ Enable auto range for current.
:CURR 750e-3 ‘ Set current limit to 750mA.
:CURR:TYPE TRIP ‘ Select Trip mode for current limit.
:SENS:FUNC ‘CURR’ ‘ Select the current measurement function.
:SENS:NPLC 2 ‘ Set integration rate to 2 PLC.
:SENS:AVER 5 ‘ Set average reading count to 5.
:OUTP ON ‘ Turn on the power supply output.

2. Just use a loop with a READ?, it will trigger 5 voltage measurement convensions every time and continue to display current in real-time
