2 6487's, no current output
2 6487's, no current output
Our lab has two model 6487 - that we primarily use to take iV curves. Recently, we lost communication between the instrument and the computer. This was fine, however, because we could still take measurements from the front panel. (Voltage sweep from +1 to -1 V, 0.1 V step, 1 s delay). Recently, the 6487s no longer return a current reading, but instead read 'zerocheck' as the voltage is swept. We know that there is no issue with our electrodes or sample, because we can generate iV curves with our scanning electrochemical microscope.
Re: 2 6487's, no current output
When powered up the 6487 will default into zerocheck mode which is what you see. To see the current reading you must presss the "ZCHK" button on the front of the 6487.
