How to connect to column 5 ?

The commands to close cross points are 1!2!5.
with the 1 being the slot.
the 2 being the row.
and 5 being the column.
So this command closes row 2 and column 5 in slot 1.
Look in the instruction manual on page 3-5 Table 3-3 for details.

Sorry, actually I was asking for how to physically connect to column 5. 4 triax connectors go to the rows, 2 triax go to column 3 and 4 etc. However in the user manual, the connection to column 5 is not clearly stated.

Column 5 is the terminal strip on the back of the card.
Look at the instruction manual page 2-4 for the terminal strip table.
