Dear forum,
I understand that there is a driver for LabView for my 6482 -. Is there a manual that helps me with the set up of a data logger for Labview? I don't need a very sophisticated logger. Just real-time stamps and current + channel is fine. Is there a Labview project from another multimeter that I can use a template?
Alternatively, how can I implement ExceLINX for my 6482? I tried ExceLINX 04 and 06 but neither one lists the KESCPI device in their device list although it works fine with the communicator (receives and replies to the status request).
Thanks! Edy

I did not see a Labview driver for the Model 6482. I see it has a VXI PnP driver that includes the 2500, 2502 and 6482.
Excelinx for the 6485, 6487 and 6514 does not support the 6482.

Which would be the easiest way to get a data logger running for the 6482? Linux or Windows XP are possible here.Dale C wrote:I did not see a Labview driver for the Model 6482. I see it has a VXI PnP driver that includes the 2500, 2502 and 6482.

I would go with XP only because I am not familiar with Linux.
Of course then you would need a programming language to write a short data logging routine.
Labview is very popular, along with VB and MatLab.
