Assist to measure IV curve with KI2701 or KI487

Post by [email protected] » September 19th, 2019, 10:59 am

Greetings!
Can any one kindly tell me if I can use KI2701 to measure IV curve from a solar simulator?
Please tell me how if it is possible.
If not, what about KI487? Specifically kindly tell me what do I require to do so.
Kind
Ollo

The 2701 is a multi-channel, digital multi meter (DMM) type product.
The 487 is a - with a DC voltage source.

The 2701 is definitely not suitable to perform IV curve.

If currents from your solar device are within the capability of the 487 - and you make a custom cable to combine the DC source with the AMPs measure function, then it can maybe play a role. But your currents will need to be pretty small.

A SourceMeter is the best product for IV curves. Check out the model 2450.
