About ":READ?" Command

Post by Gibbs Choi » October 15th, 2014, 6:26 pm

-. Instrument : 2182A
-. Firmware Revision : C02
-. Display Revision : A02

First, setting up the continuous initialization "OFF" by command ":INIT:CONT OFF".
And next, sending the command for measurement ":READ?".
That time, changed the continuous initialization "ON" automatically.
How can I read the measurement value that do not initialization continuous on?

Try using *RST.
That disables continuous initiation.
Now, when sending a :READ?
It will drop down out of IDLE state and take one reading.
Then it will return to IDLE state.
Is that what you want?
