Hi,

I need to store the buffer values of 2657A SMU into USB in either csv format or in excel format. What commands must I include in the script inorder to obtain the above.

Hello,

There is a utility function called savebuffer() in the nvmemory of the instrument.
Call it with something like:
savebuffer(smua.nvbuffer1, "csv", "my_file_name.csv")

Be sure that you have first inserted a USB thumb drive into the data port of the 2657A.

Alternately, you can customize your own implementation of these io.x methods for file I/O.

If you want to examine the source implementation of the savebuffer() function, you can get a source code listing by using the Instrument Console Window of Test Script Builder:
